Set Appliance State:

Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Disconnect mains input plug from rear of the EMC filter

Measurement:

Test 1.
Measure resistance across the live output terminal on the EMC filter and the live input pin at the rear of the EMC filter.
Test 2.
Measure resistance across the neutral output terminal on the EMC filter and the neutral input pin at the rear of the EMC filter.
Expected resistance close circuit zero resistance on both tests.
Note:
Allow for resistance of test leads if fused leads are used as this will add to the zero resistance expected.
Reconnect plug after test.
