Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Isolate Water and Gas as appropriate

The timer is optional. If not fitted then the link between 3 and 4 on the main terminal strip must be present must be present.
Upon completion of the fault diagnostics carry out final electrical safety tests and checks as per TOPs (C6).
