Set Appliance State:

Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4

Measurement:

Measure resistance between connection 6 (white lead) on connector marked CON 2 on the control PCB and appliance earth.
Expected resistance - open circuit
