Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Remove the leads from the gas valve

Measurement:

Measure the resistance across the terminals 1 and 4 of the gas valve.
Expected resistance should be approximately 52 ohms.
Note:
For clarity, gas valve has been removed from boiler.
