Set Appliance State:

Remove wires from diverter valve microswitches and make safe
Hot Water Tap OFF
Hot Water Tap OFF
Measurement:
Test 1:
Measure resistance across the bottom microswitch
(expect continuity / zero resistance).
Measure resistance across the top microswitch (expect open circuit).
Test 2:
Mains Power On
Hot Water Tap ON and allow diverter valve to move to the right.
Measure resistance across bottom microswitch (expect open circuit).
Measure resistance across top microswitch (expect open circuit).
Are the resistances as expected?
Measure resistance across the bottom microswitch
(expect continuity / zero resistance).
Measure resistance across the top microswitch (expect open circuit).
Test 2:

Hot Water Tap ON and allow diverter valve to move to the right.
Measure resistance across bottom microswitch (expect open circuit).
Measure resistance across top microswitch (expect open circuit).
Are the resistances as expected?

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
