Disconnect the flow pipe from the appliance
(remove the whole pipe as the rubber section can break if removed directly)
Observation:
Visually inspect the flow pipe and rubber hose as far as possible.
Pour water through the pipe assembly to try and ascertain if it is restricted or blocked.
The rubber hose is prone to attracting restrictions / blockages, if it is not possible to ascertain if the pipe and hose are clear then the hose will need to be removed. It is advisable to have replacement jubilee clips available if this has to be done as the hose is usually fitted with one time clips that cannot be re used and this would mean the appliance could not be reassembled.
Note:
Depending on appliance version the flow pipe / hose arrangement may differ in design and appearance but the test should be carried out in the same way.
