Set Appliance State:
Set Multimeter to Resistance 
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Disconnect connector Marked CN3 Display from
the main PCB
Disconnect connector Marked CN3 Display from
the main PCB
Measurement:
Test 1.
User control switch to OFF position.
Measure resistance across connection 1 (red lead) and connection 2 (yellow lead). Resistance should be open circuit.
Test 2.
User control switch to ON position.
Measure resistance across connection 1 (red lead) and connection 2 (yellow lead). Resistance should be less than 2 Ohms.
Note:
If fused leads are being used then resistance of leads should
be taken into consideration.
User control switch to OFF position.
Measure resistance across connection 1 (red lead) and connection 2 (yellow lead). Resistance should be open circuit.
Test 2.
User control switch to ON position.
Measure resistance across connection 1 (red lead) and connection 2 (yellow lead). Resistance should be less than 2 Ohms.
Note:
If fused leads are being used then resistance of leads should
be taken into consideration.
Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
