RESISTANCE OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE SENSOR AND HARNESS

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4

Set Multimeter to Resistance

If installed disconnect outdoor temperature sensor
from terminal block pins 3 & 4
Note.
Terminal block will be attached to connector X21 on PCB

If no outdoor sensor is installed, choose that option from below.

Resistances vary with temperature and should
conform approximately to the graph below:

Measure for resistance across leads of disconnected outdoor sensor harness.
