INSPECTION FAN AND DAMPER

Set Appliance State:

Gas Off

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4

Remove burner module assembly and separate fan section from burner door arm

Observation:

Inspect the fan impellors for contamination and / or damage and ensure mixture damper is not sticking.

Mixture damper inspection
Ensure that it opens fully and closes without sticking, this can be proved by placing the burner door arm upside down (damper open) and then turning it the correct way up (damper closed).

Fan Impellor inspection

Note.
1. Do NOT reassemble the appliance if the visual inspections are satisfactory.
2. Refer to ADAPT regarding any gasket replacement requirements.
