Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to Resistance 
Remove electrode assembly from the burner door
Disconnect lead from the spark generator
Disconnect lead from the spark generator
Measurement:
Thoroughly check the spark electrode and lead for wear, contamination, cracks and damage, confirm electrode gap is 5mm + 0.5mm
Measure the resistance of the spark electrode from end to end (see note 1.)
Expect continuity / zero resistance.
Note.
1. If required clean the electrode with a small brush (not with a wire brush) or emery paper.
2. Refer to ADAPT regarding any gasket replacement requirements.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
