PRESSURE GAS INLET DROP

Set Appliance State:

Gas Off

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4

CH Demand

Attach pressure gauge to gas valve pressure inlet test point

Gas On

WARNING! - Mains voltage is expected during test follow
TOPs P4 live testing procedure

Mains Power On

Observation:

Reset appliance if required.
Allow self-check to complete and ignition sequence to commence.
Observe the pressure gauge throughout the ignition cycle, during the sparking stage of the ignition sequence there should be a noticeable dip from standing to working pressure as the gas valve opens.
Inlet pressure should remain above an acceptable minimum level throughout the ignition sequence.

Note.
1. The appliance will enter lockout after 3 attempts of ignition, approximately 40 seconds between each attempt, reset as required until test is complete.
2. Where the manufacturer states an inlet pressure that would not normally be acceptable, please refer to TOP's for further guidance.
3. When pressure gauge is removed the pressure test point should be tightened and checked for gas tightness.
