Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Remove the leads from the APS
Disconnect the tube from the APS

Measurement:

Measure the resistance between terminals 1 and 3 on the APS.
Expected resistance open circuit.
