Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to DC Volts 
CH Demand
Gain access to PCB (use Insulation Mat as required)
CH temperature control set to MAX
Remove connector 54/11 from the PCB and make safe
CH temperature control set to MAX
Remove connector 54/11 from the PCB and make safe

Measurement:
Measure the DC voltage between pin 3 where
connector 54/11 was fitted and a suitable earth.
Expect approximately 340 Vdc which should increase to approximately 355 Vdc during the sparking stage.
Ensure a good connection is made or misdiagnosis will occur.
Note.
The appliance will enter lockout after 3 attempts of ignition, approximately 40 seconds between each attempt, reset as required until test is complete.

and refit as necessary
