Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Gain access to PCB (use Insulation Mat as required)
Remove fan driver PCB from the fan assembly

Measurement:

1. Is the fan assembly free to rotate without restriction?
2. Measure for resistance across the exposed fan terminals.
Expected resistance approximately 78 ohms.
3. Measure for resistance across an exposed
fan terminal and a suitable earth connection.
Expected resistance greater than 1 MOhm.
4. Check the electrical connection between the
fan motor terminals and fan driver PCB.
