Set Appliance State:
Gas Off
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Disconnect the ignition leads from the spark generator
and position approx 2mm from the spark generator
with the use of a crocodile clip as shown in the picture

Observation:
Reset appliance as necessary, allow appliance to
complete its self check and ignition sequence to begin.
Shortly after the fan runs much louder sparking should be
heard from the spark generator, it should also be visible.
As the boiler will not ignite it will go to lockout after 5 attempts at ignition.
Once you are confident whether sparking is present or not
