Set Appliance State:
Gas Off
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Attach U-gauge to gas valve inlet pressure test point
Attach U-gauge to gas valve inlet pressure test point
Observation:
Gas On. Allow pressure to stabilise. Turn gas back off.
Does the pressure on the U-gauge remain at the same level or does it begin to drop, indicating the gas valve is passing.
Note:
After completing this test ensure all disturbed joints are checked for gas soundness.
