Set Appliance State:

Gas Off
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Remove the gas valve from the side of the fan

Observation:

Check that the impeller is not damaged and is rotating freely.
Ensure that gaskets are intact and undamaged, otherwise they will need replacing.
