Set Appliance State:
Mains Power Off
Ensure power is turned off to appliance for at least 10 seconds (or it will not perform self-check)

Observation:
Allow boiler to complete 90 second self-check & pump / fan purge.
If boiler detects any faults during this
it will display the relevant code.
After the self-check it should enter standby, the
pump should not run and boiler should not attempt to fire.

Allow full self-check to complete for this test.
To speed up diagnosis through XSol on future tests the pump and fan purge can be skipped:
1. Turn power on for approx. 2 seconds
2. Turn ON/OFF switch to off position for 2 seconds then back ON.
3. Boiler will now enter standby after display initialisation (around 10 seconds).
If boiler detects any faults during this
it will display the relevant code.

pump should not run and boiler should not attempt to fire.
