Observation:
The system may have a bypass and this could affect the flow through the boiler.
The bypass may be an automatic bypass, gate valve or simply a radiator that does not have a thermostatic control on it.
If the system does not have an external bypass then the boiler must rely on the internal bypass fitted behind the pump.
