Set Appliance State:

Remove the burner assembly from the appliance
Note: Before reassembly a new burner gasket must be fitted

Observation:
1. Visually inspect the burner for any damage and/or restrictions.
Is the burner in good condition?
2. Also thoroughly check the white spark electrodes for cracks and damage to the electrode ceramics and good general condition, this inspection can be carried from the top of the heat exchanger as illustrated.
Check for correct spark gap, should be 4.5mm +/- 0.5mm between the electrodes.
Is the electrode assembly in good condition and the spark gap correct?

Note:
If the electrode gasket is disturbed during this inspection, then a new electrode assembly must be fitted.
Is the burner in good condition?
