Set Appliance State:

Gas Off
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4

Measurement:

Check electrode is clean and undamaged.
Check electrode spark gap (5mm).
Carry out a continuity test between electrode tip and the end of electrode lead.
