Set Appliance State:
Gas Off
Set Multimeter to AC Volts 
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Gain access to PCB (use insulation mat as necessary)
Selector Switch to summer position
Remove connector J5 (bottom centre of PCB), left hand side of mains transformer
Clip multi-meter leads to J5 pins 1 and 2
Gain access to PCB (use insulation mat as necessary)
Selector Switch to summer position
Remove connector J5 (bottom centre of PCB), left hand side of mains transformer
Clip multi-meter leads to J5 pins 1 and 2

Measurement:
Hold in ignition button for approx 25 seconds, MAINS VOLTAGE should then be present.
NOTE !
A small AC voltage will be seen at first, before mains voltage appears.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
