Set Appliance State:

Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Remove black wires from thermistor

Measurement:

Measure resistance across thermistor.
Resistance should be greater than 1000 ohms AND less than 14 kohms.
Replace black wires.
