Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Remove diverter valve actuator and disconnect electrical connector

Measurement:

Check which position the diverter valve spindle is in then check the resistances are approximately per the appropriate table.
