Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Gain access to burner

Observation:

Inspect the rectification (rear electrode) electrode for any signs of damage or cracks to the ceramic.
Inspect the full length of the electrode lead for signs of damage to the insulation or lead.
