Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Disconnect wires and tube from the APS noting their locations
Note the operating pressure indicated on the pressure switch
Ensure the syringe is fully depressed
Connect the APS test kit to the -ve connection on the APS,
to the -ve connection on FGA and to the syringe

Measurement:

Ensure the performance tester reads 0mb.
Withdraw the plunger on the syringe until the pressure indicated on the FGA is equal to that indicated on the APS.
Continuity / zero resistance should then be measured across the common and normally open terminals at the APS.
If continuity / zero resistance is measured make a note of the pressure the APS switched at and keep charge kit connected to APS.
Notes:
1. 100Pa (Pascals) = 1millibar
2. If continuity / zero resistance measuired is not measured it is permissible to increase the pressure by up to 50%
Is the resistance measured as expected?
