Set Appliance State:

Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Remove the wires from the fan resistor

Measurement:

Measure the resistance across the fan resistor.
Expect approximately 1200 ohms.
Is the resistance measured as expected?
