Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to AC Volts Set meter to measure AC Volts
Remove spark electrode lead from spark generator,
make safe
WARNING! - Mains voltage is expected during test follow
TOPs P4 live testing procedure
Mains Power On

Measurement:

Measure for A/C voltage across the top terminal (spark generator) and a suitable earth connection.
Expected voltage approximately 68.0V AC.
Note.
Ensure a good connection is made or misdiagnosis will occur.
