Observation:
Observe the boilers display.
Are there two dashes either side of the flow temperature on the display?
Two dashes indicates manual / emergency mode.
Note:
Manual / emergency mode overrides all external heating controls in case they have failed and heating is required, this can be activated by the customer by pressing and holding the radiator symbol until the 2 dashes appear in the display.
