This appliance can be fitted with an automatic filling valve assembly.
This comprises of a solenoid controlled by the main PCB which will top up the system pressure as and when required.
This is an optional extra and has to be fitted in place of the normal manual filling valve assembly and wired into the PCB. The feature also has to be turned on in the special functions menu.
The automatic filling valve parameters also have to be set up correctly based on the system design - these include:
4 - d0 = Automatic Filling Valve Present (YES / NO)
4 - d1 = Automatic Filling Valve (ON / OFF)
4 - d2 = Minimum System Pressure (0.6 / 0.7 / 0.8bar)
4 - d3 = Target System Pressure (1.0 - 1.7bar)
4 - d4 = Maximum Refilling Time (120 - 240s)
4 - d7 = Reset Refilling (YES/NO)
4 - d8 = Heating System Type (0:Small / 1:Medium / 2:Large)
4 - d9 = Manual Fill (YES / NO)
For more detailed information on the options available refer to Manufacturer’s Instructions.
To enter the settings enter the installer mode and access the appropriate level / setting as above.

Failure to set these parameters correctly will result in incorrect operation of the automatic filling feature and possible nuisance fault codes. These can also be displayed if radiators are being bled regularly.
It should also be noted that the function will be disabled if no pressure increase can be measured or the parameters mentioned above are exceeded - however in the service / installer menu there is an option to "reset refilling" (menu 4 - d7) which resets the counters.
If a fault code is present it may need to be rest by pressing the up and down arrows simultaneously for 3 seconds or by turning the power to the appliance off then back on after 10 seconds.
