Set Appliance State:
Gas Off
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Turn Hot Water Tap On
Attach U-gauge to inlet pressure test point
(Use tool provided for Honeywell valve or T10 Torx / 2.5mm Allen key)

Gas On

Observation:
Reset appliance as necessary (hold down both arrow buttons until display changes) and allow the boiler to complete its self-check.
Observe the pressure gauge as the appliance runs its ignition sequence, during the sparking stage of the cycle there should a dip in the inlet pressure indicating the gas valve is opening.
Does the inlet pressure dip indicating the gas valve is opening?
Does the inlet pressure remain at a satisfactory level?
The inlet pressure should remain above minimum throughout boiler operation (refer to table).
Note:
Upon completing of the test the test point should be tightened and checked for gas soundness.
