Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to AC Volts 
Turn Hot Water Tap On
Remove the ignition control box cover
| WARNING! - Mains voltage is expected during test follow TOPs P4 live testing procedure |
Measurement:
Reset appliance as necessary.
Test 1:
Allow the fan to run and ignition sequence to commence.
During the sparking stage of the ignition cycle measure the AC voltage between the brown and blue on the ignition control box gas valve connector - expect mains voltage.
Test 2:
Allow the fan to run and ignition sequence to commence.
During the sparking stage of the ignition cycle measure the AC voltage between the red and blue on the ignition control box gas valve connector - expect mains voltage.
Note:
Appliance may go to lockout during this test, reset as necessary to confirm result.
Are the voltages measured as expected?
Test 1:
