Diagnosis relies on confirmation of previous steps in the XSol/Appliance sequence - for example if you choose to investigate DHW operation XSol will not check that the pump is running because this should already have been confirmed - all basic checks on opening XSol should be also be confirmed as these may also have been bypassed.
If in any doubt or the diagnosis reached appears unsatisfactory it is advisable to use the FULL DIAGNOSTIC option instead.
