Set Appliance State:
Gas Off
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Turn Hot Water Tap On
Remove tube from right connector of APS
| WARNING! - Mains voltage is expected during test follow TOPs P4 live testing procedure |
Observation:
Note the operating pressure indicated on the pressure switch.
Connect the air pressure switch charge kit to +VE connection on the air pressure switch (right connector of APS)
Increase the pressure via the syringe to that indicated on the pressure switch.
Does sparking occur?
Note:
1. If sparking does not occur when the specified pressure
is applied it is permissible to increase the pressure by 50%.
2. If lockout occurs during the test reset as necessary until the result can be confirmed.
3. 80 & 90 versions have one tube running from a venturi in the rear of the flue collector to the APS.
Connect the air pressure switch charge kit to +VE connection on the air pressure switch (right connector of APS)
Increase the pressure via the syringe to that indicated on the pressure switch.

and refit as necessary
