Mains Power On

Observation:

Allow the burner to ignite and the boiler to run in central heating mode.
Monitor the temperature of the two pipes.
Does the nut on the pipe to the plate heat exchanger increase in temperature more than the flow pipe to the radiators as the appliance runs in central heating mode?
Note:
1. If the appliance is already hot (over 60°C) it will be necessary to cool it to less than 40°C before carrying out this test, this can be done by running the appliance in DHW mode with 1 wire removed from the modureg or the gas turned off.
2. Ensure a good contact is made to the pipe with the temperature clamp.
