Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Remove connector J2 from the PCB
Remove the 2 pin connector from the ignition control box
Remove the 2 pin connector from the ignition control box
Measurement:
Test 1:
Measure the resistance between pin 5 (yellow) on connector J2 and the yellow on the ignition control box connector.
Expect continuity / zero resistance.
Test 2:
Measure the resistance between pin 6 (red) on connector J2 and the red on the ignition control box connector.
Expect continuity / zero resistance.
Also visually inspect the condition of the harness.
Are the resistances measured as expected and is the harness in good general condition?
Measure the resistance between pin 5 (yellow) on connector J2 and the yellow on the ignition control box connector.
Expect continuity / zero resistance.
Test 2:
Measure the resistance between pin 6 (red) on connector J2 and the red on the ignition control box connector.
Expect continuity / zero resistance.
Also visually inspect the condition of the harness.
Are the resistances measured as expected and is the harness in good general condition?

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
