Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Disconnect inline connector for the pump

Measurement:

Test 1:
Measure the resistance between the two outer pins of the inline connector.
Resistance should be approximately 30 Ohms.
Test 2:
Measure the resistance between either of the outer pins and the centre (earth) pin of the inline connector.
Resistance should be greater than 1M Ohm.
