Set Appliance State:

Turn Hot Water Tap On
Boiler Switch in ON position
Central Heating switch in OFF (central) position
Turn gas control knob to main gas position
Slacken the manual restart nut and take precautions to ensure any water released is safely contained

Gas On; Pilot On

Observation:
Turn on hot water tap.
After main burner has ignited, turn off hot water tap and confirm water pump continues to run.
