Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to Resistance 
Remove the ignition electrode and lead assembly
Measurement:
Measure the continuity of the ignition electrode and lead from its tip to the PCB connector.
Expect approximately 1 KOhm.
Also visually inspect the condition of the lead and electrode checking for and signs of damaged insulation or cracked ceramic.
Also check the spark gap which should be 4mm.
Note:
It may be necessary to remove the build up of oxide from the electrode where the probe is going to be placed for testing as it can create a false resistance reading.
