INSPECTION BYPASS INTERNAL

Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4

Boiler primary circuit drained and discharged
Remove the bypass valve assembly
(located directly behind low pressure switch)

Observation:

Inspect the integral bypass assembly ensuring it is clean free from blockages and restrictions and that there is a small resistance from the spring inside the valve.

Remove valve and check for blockages

Press inside the valve gently with a screwdriver to check the spring pressure, and that the valve can move.

Note:
When removing the blue bypass valve make a note of which way round it fits and ensure it is fitted back into the body the correct way upon reassembly
