Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Gain access to PCB (use Insulation Mat as required)
Ease connector slightly off the PCB to expose test point
Ease connector slightly off the PCB to expose test point
| WARNING! Mains voltage is expected during test, follow TOPs P4 live testing procedure |
Measurement:
Test 1:
Hot water tap OFF
Measure the DC voltage between Pin 1 (White)
and Pin 3 (Blue) on connector CN12
Expect approximately 4.9 or 0 VDC
(Initial voltage may vary due to the hall sensor position)
Test 2:
Hot Water Tap ON
Measure the DC voltage between Pin 1 (White)
and Pin 3 (Blue) on connector CN12
Expect approximately 4.2 VDC
Hot water tap OFF
Measure the DC voltage between Pin 1 (White)
and Pin 3 (Blue) on connector CN12
Expect approximately 4.9 or 0 VDC
(Initial voltage may vary due to the hall sensor position)
Test 2:
Hot Water Tap ON
Measure the DC voltage between Pin 1 (White)
and Pin 3 (Blue) on connector CN12
Expect approximately 4.2 VDC

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
