Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Gain access to PCB (use Insulation Mat as required)
| WARNING! Mains voltage is expected during test, follow TOPs P4 live testing procedure |
Measurement:
Test 1:
Hot water tap OFF
Measure the DC voltage between Pin 5 (White)
and Pin 6 (Blue) on connector X2
Expect either 5 or 0 VDC.
(Initial voltage may vary due to the hall sensor position)
Test 2:
Hot Water Tap ON, flow rate approx. 3 litres/min
Measure the DC voltage between Pin 5 (White)
and Pin 6 (Blue) on connector X2
Expect approximately 4.3 VDC.
Note:
Voltage may fluctuate slightly on test 2.
Hot water tap OFF
Measure the DC voltage between Pin 5 (White)
and Pin 6 (Blue) on connector X2
