Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
CH Demand
CH temperature control to Mid setting
Attach a U gauge to burner pressure test point
Attach a U gauge to burner pressure test point
| WARNING! Mains voltage is expected during test, follow TOPs P4 live testing procedure |
Observation:
Allow boiler to fire for CH.
Monitor pressure gauge.
As temperature increases in system the burner should start to modulate down.
Does burner pressure modulate ranging from 13.4mbar maximum to 1.4mbar minimum?
It may be helpful to reduce the load by turning off some rads to help system warm up quicker.
Note:
When pressure gauge is removed the pressure test point should be tightened and checked for gas tightness.
