Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Remove diverter head from body (to view spindle position),
keep harness plugged into diverter head
Remove connector X6 from the PCB
keep harness plugged into diverter head
Remove connector X6 from the PCB
Measurement:
Test 1:
Measure the resistance between pin 1 (Black) and pin 3 (Blue)
Expect approximately 7.9 kOhms if the valve is in CH position
and open circuit if in DHW position.
Test 2:
Measure the resistance between pin 3 (Blue) and pin 2 (Brown)
Expect approximately 7.9 kOhms if the valve is in DHW position
and open circuit if in CH position.
Note: If the valve is half way between the positions it would be acceptable to get 7.9 kOhms on both tests 1 and 2.
Measure the resistance between pin 1 (Black) and pin 3 (Blue)
Expect approximately 7.9 kOhms if the valve is in CH position
and open circuit if in DHW position.
Test 2:
Measure the resistance between pin 3 (Blue) and pin 2 (Brown)
Expect approximately 7.9 kOhms if the valve is in DHW position
and open circuit if in CH position.
Note: If the valve is half way between the positions it would be acceptable to get 7.9 kOhms on both tests 1 and 2.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
