PRESSURE IGNITION (FAULT)

Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4

Turn Hot Water Tap On

Attach pressure gauge to gas valve pressure outlet test point

WARNING! - Mains voltage is expected during test follow
TOPs P4 live testing procedure

Mains Power On

Observation:

During the sparking stage of the ignition sequence
does the U-gauge show a pressure of at least the
minimum burner pressure for the appliance? (see table)

Notes:
1. When pressure gauge is removed the pressure test point should be tightened and checked for gas tightness.
2. Ignition pressure should be approximately 6mb (NG) (13mb Propane / 12mb Butane) and is set via options on the PCB, however the burner should ignite and establish as long as the pressure is above minimum. Refer to ADAPT for more information.
