Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Remove diverter valve actuator from diverter valve assembly
(pump may need to be pushed slightly upwards to allow removal)

Measurement:

Confirm diverter valve spindle is not stiff or seized.
It should be possible to be pushed in easily (approximately 1cm) and move freely back into its original position.
