Observation:
Run the hot tap and allow the boiler to heat for a short time.
Using temperature clamps for the FGA (Flue Gas Analyser) measure the temperature on the primary flow pipe just above the overheat stat and return pipe just above the pump, there should be a temperature differential of between 14-18°C across the flow and return pipes.
