Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to mVolts DC Set meter to measure DC mVolts
Main switch in ON position
WARNING! Mains voltage is expected during test, follow TOPs P4 live testing procedure
Mains Power On

Measurement:

With the pilot alight (keep Gas Control Valve Knob depressed) measure the voltage on both terminals of Cut Off Thermostat. Voltage measured should be greater than 8mV DC in both cases.
