Set Appliance State:

Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Remove control box cover
Disconnect the two grey wires from the selector switch
Turn selector switch to heating and water position

Measurement:

Measure resistance across the two exposed terminals of the switch.
