Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to Resistance 
Remove the two upper most spade
connectors on the mains On/Off switch
connectors on the mains On/Off switch
Measurement:
Turn On/Off switch to Off position.
Test 1:
Measure the resistance at one side of the switch between the top and bottom connection, repeat this test at the other side of the switch. An open circuit should be measured for both tests.
Turn On/Off switch to On position.
Test 2:
Measure the resistance at the other side of the switch between the top and bottom connection, repeat this test at the other side of the switch. A closed circuit should be measured for both tests.
Test 1:
Measure the resistance at one side of the switch between the top and bottom connection, repeat this test at the other side of the switch. An open circuit should be measured for both tests.
Turn On/Off switch to On position.
Test 2:
Measure the resistance at the other side of the switch between the top and bottom connection, repeat this test at the other side of the switch. A closed circuit should be measured for both tests.
Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
